International Film Festival Meeting

ASTRA FILM is a groundbreaker in promoting documentary cinema in Eastern Europe, and it has remained to this day the sole international documentary festival in Romania.  In its two-decades existence, ASTRA FILM FESTIVAL has gained a respected position among the European Doc/film festivals.

This year’s anniversary edition offers an excellent opportunity for a meeting of festival representatives world-wide, to share experience and to discuss challenges that confront documentary film festivals today.

The agenda is as follows:

October 18th, Friday

16:00 – 17:00 hrs.   Media Desk presentation of the Creative Europe Programme
19:00 hrs.               Industry meeting with Romanian and foreign filmakers

October 19th, Saturday

15:00 – 17:00 hrs.   Meeting of the International Documentary Film Festivals
