Alfred Bulai is sociologist, writer and professor at National School of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest, Faculty of Political Science, Department of Sociology. He teaches numerous courses: Visual Sociology, Sociological Research Methodology, General Sociology, Sociology of Communications, Fundamental Concepts in Sociology, Social Communication, Public Policy, Focus Group, Sociology of Government. Publications: Dictionary of Sociology (coord. Catalin Zamfir, Lazar Vlasceanu), co-author (1993); Electoral Mechanisms in the Romanian Society, (1999); Focus Grup, (2000); 8539 (novel), (2003). He works in the field of visual sociology; in 2011 he made a documentary film in Dragus, Brasov, where the first sociological documentary in the world was made in 1929.
