Alain de Halleux was born in Brussels in1957. He is qualified in chemist science (UCL) and in film direction (INSAS). Married. Four children.
From 1981, Alain de Halleux works as a photographer : photo reports in Afghanistan and Lebanon. His photos were published in France, Germany, Australia, USA, Italy and Holland. In 1983, he was awarded the "prize of the vocation" for his photographic works. From 1987 to 1998, he directed numerous commercials and industrial films.
