Director's Bio-Filmography:
Born in 1971 in Bucharest, Radu graduated in 1994 the Theatre and Film Academy, the Film Direction section. Ever since 1996, Radu directed over 600 commercials for advertising agencies such as BV McCann Ericsson, Saatchi & Saatchi, D'Arcy, Leo Burnett, Grey, Tempo, Scala J. Walter Thomson, Graffiti BBDO, Headvertising, Next Cap, winning over 40 national and international awards in various advertising festivals.
In 1999 he joined the Faculty of Film Direction, where he was university lecturer. After his feature debut, Rage, which was screened in various international film festivals and was awarded with Best debut film by The Romanian Cineastes Union award, and Best Photography (Vivi Dragan Vasile) at TIFF in 2003, his second feature followed. Hârtia va fi albastra/The Paper Will Be Blue (2006) screened in over 40 countries in more than 60 international film festivals.
